Due to COVID-19, there are no location restrictions on online sessions.
Some of our therapists are registered to provide services under Medicare. This means that individual and group sessions with those therapists are eligible for a Medicare rebate. If you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, Psychiatrist or Pediatrician, you can claim back a rebate from Medicare for a maximum of twenty sessions per calendar year. The rebate rates vary depending on the therapist you are matched with, but lease note that the out of pocket costs are all equal regardless.
You may elect to utilise your private health insurance. The rebate will depend on your health fund and your level of cover. To find out more information about what mental health services your health insurance policy covers, please contact your health insurer directly.
NDIS supports people with a permanent and significant disability that affects their capacity to take part in everyday activities. If your NDIS funding is self-managed, or managed by a third party, we are able to provide services to you.
If you are looking to learn more about NDIS funding and would like to check eligibility, please visit https://ndis.gov.au
You may be eligible for psychological therapy if you have a Worker's Compensation or Compulsory Third Party claim.
You will need to discuss suitability for psychological therapy with your GP and/or insurance claims manager. Therapy Online must have approval from your insurer in writing before we are able to provide services for an insurance claim.
We will need this information in advance to enable us to bill your insurance company directly.
We are not a crisis service. If you are in crisis call 000 (AU) or call Lifeline on 13 11 14 to get immediate help.
